The exhibition “Art Matters—Kunst maakt verschil” was set up to inform the visitors of the Stedelijk Museum about the cultural funding cuts in the Netherlands. The red bilingual folders could be filled with lose articles which gave every visitor the possibility to produce their own reader. The collection of texts had been selected by the participants of Platform Beeldende Kunst. Togther with a series of posters and videos of the protests against the cuts, the folders were installed in the reading room of the Stedelijk Museum.
