Today, almost one hundred years later, we were asked to help the brand re-designing their identity. Beyond Dessert provides a wide range of dessert table services. Blow designed the brand identity and a cakepop packaging for client. The custom-made cakepops are stylish and lovely in a packaging format that can protect the cakepops as well as making the cakepops easy to carry.

Velvet Burger is a New Zealand burger chain founded in Dunedin by a group of students who had marched into a brewery a couple of years earlier with a ‘stab in the dark’ offer and came out, the proud new owners of the iconic Captain Cook pub. They’re an unusual bunch of very grounded, very Kiwi entrepreneurs.

With Velvet Burger, the boys set out with a vision of a place to get a great burger and a beer in the late hours — a place that would stand out from its competition by reflecting a youthful, irreverent Kiwi attitude and humour.

With a strong beer offering and substantial servings, Velvet has a very male but female-freindly orientation which is captured perfectly in the brand. As a result, Velvet Burger’s become an iconic destination for Dunedin’s under 25s and, with the recent opening of their first Auckland store, they’re well on the way to national fame.

The TAB’s identity was muted and linearly disciplined to accommodate for the venue’s strong commitment to music. Highlights include a Hand-crafted menu boards on washed paper, lyrical way finding, and a 12 foot custom made neon sign.

Daniel Berkowitz, a designer based in New Delhi, India created packaging design for a range of high end spa products, Moya. This design is graphically simple yet, with the unique structure and the anticipation created by how the product is revealed after opening the box, a simple package becomes an incredible user experience.
