The graphics on rolling paper packets used to be totally decorative. Tropical landscapes, animals, and characters were often pictured, and the letterings were full of ornaments and detail. However this expressional medium has been replaced by set commercial imagery, with defined commercial targets and a clear business objective.
This rolling paper packaging collection offers a confrontation between those two distinct aspects of graphic design, on the one hand functionalism carried to extreme lengths, on the other a moredecorative and ornamental aspect.
