Inspired by the joys of wanderlust, Triologie – a fashion label founded by three friends – is conceived for the modern female who lives to discover and enrich her life with fresh experiences.
The three irregular circles in the logo are designed to evoke the feelings of wanderlust: An Appreciation of the next destination; Exploration of its culture, arts, sights and sounds, and finally; a sense of Relaxation from rejuvenation.
To further reflect the brand’s free spirit, the circles are placed randomly as if floating away from the wordmark.
“mirage in his eyes
oasis from your angle
for me… it is heaven on earth.”
Golden Fields is Andrew McConnell’s newest, and first, restaurant south of the river on Fitzroy St in St Kilda. The restaurant’s identity is yet another successful collaboration between Studio Round and Andrew, with the confident result demonstrating the depth of the relationship, mutual respect and understanding that has arisen from past projects, which also include 312, Cumulus Inc., Cutler and Co.
The brief for the identity was to be as reductive as possible. Our inspiration was taken from the ‘horizon line’ opposite the restaurant, a view where the park meets the city. Adopting a more crafted and tactile approach to the suite of printed materials was also important to contrast with the hard and shiny materials and finishes in the restaurant.
The menu is a reflection of Andrew’s time spent in Hong Kong and Shanghai. It has a modern Asian feel to it. And if you haven’t tried one of his already famous Lobster Roll’s, then trust us, they are well worth a visit!
